LOCATION: The Vila Galé Lagos, located just off the Meia Praia, has an elegant and unconventional fashion-themed décor. It has been “dressed” by leading Portuguese designers, who have donated some of their original pieces and photos from their fashion shows – these can be found throughout the interiors, as well as in the comfortable rooms and restaurants serving local culinary specialities. For a moment of calm, head to the fully-equipped Satsanga spa, which includes an indoor swimming pool. The hotel is also ideally located close to the Meia Praia, with lovely views over the ocean from its garden.
